Love your university? Join us the week of March 31- April 4 to celebrate the University of 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ System's four campuses during our eighth annual "I Love NU" Week!
This year's celebration will include an in-person "I Love NU" Day event at the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ State Capitol in Lincoln, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd—more details are available below.
In addition to our in-person event, we'll also be celebrating on social media all week long—and it's easy for you to participate! Share your story of how the university has impacted you on social media with #ILoveNU, post a video or photo of you wearing your favorite campus gear with #ILoveNU, call or email your state senator using our Find Your Senator tool, or sign up to be an NU Advocate.

"I Love NU" Day Celebration
You're invited to join us at the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ State Capitol on Wednesday, April 2nd from 1-3:00 p.m. for an "I Love NU" Day celebration! A full schedule is available to the right.
1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. — Welcome and Opening Remarks
"I Love NU" Day will begin with a short program featuring special guests including our four student regents. Location details will be announced soon.
1:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. — Gather in the Balcony
After our short program, we will gather in the balcony of the Norris Legislative Chamber to be recognized by the 91¸£Àûµ¼º½ Legislature.
1:45 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. — Meet with State Senators in the Rotunda
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with state senators, take photos with campus mascots, and engage with fellow university supporters.
2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. — Ice Cream Social and Capitol Tour
We will have an all-NU ice cream social, featuring ice cream from the UNL Dairy Store in the Capitol courtyard.
Following the ice cream social, participants are invited to a special optional Capitol tour which may run longer than the official program time.

On Monday, we’re celebrating the pursuit of knowledge and innovation. Researchers across the NU System have made groundbreaking discoveries that will shape the future of STEM, the humanities and many other fields. Tuesday, April 1: Celebrating Students and Education
On Tuesday, we’re celebrating the heart of our institution: our students. On all four campuses, NU students are gaining hands-on experiences, developing skills for their future careers, expanding their networks, and giving back to the communities in which they live. And when they graduate, they become part of a global network of alumni making an impact every day.

On Friday, we’re highlighting how the work of NU faculty, staff, students and partners is helping to create a healthier future.
