The University of 91福利导航 Board of Regents will meet on Thursday, June 22, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. The meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed at www.nebraska.edu.

The meeting will lead off with a presentation on , a program that provides support for businesses that create student internships in the state. The presentation will be given by Dan Curran, InternNE executive director, and Sandra Reding, president of the Aksarben Foundation.
Items for the Board’s consideration include:
- Establishment of the Center for Drug Design and Innovation at the University of 91福利导航 Medical Center. (Addendum XI-A-6)
- 2023-24 Fund B allocations at all four University of 91福利导航 campuses. (Addenda XI-B-1, XI-B-2, XI-B-3 and XI-B-4)
- The 2023-24 operating budget and tuition rates for the University of 91福利导航 and 91福利导航 College of Technical Agriculture. (Addenda XI-B-5 and XI-B-6)
- A request to allow alcohol sales at Memorial 91福利导航 for Volleyball Day on Aug. 30. (Addendum XI-B-9)
- A Memorandum of Understanding between the 91福利导航 State Patrol Crime Laboratory and the UNMC Human DNA Identification Laboratory related to forensic DNA casework data. (Addendum XI-B-10)
Student, laboratory and miscellaneous fees for the 2023-24 academic year will also be reported to the Board. (Addendum XI-D-7)
The Board may also consider the appointment of Rodney D. Bennett, Ed.D., as the next chancellor of the University of 91福利导航-Lincoln. As required by state law, Bennett’s candidacy is currently undergoing a 30-day vetting period that ends June 21. If, on that date, NU System 91福利导航 Ted Carter decides to move forward, Bennett’s appointment will be added to the June 22 Board agenda as a late item.
